The policies will determine WHERE, HOW and WHEN<\/strong> the own digital certificates or those delegated to collaborators can be used.<\/p>\n From v4.4.1 of Viafirma Fortress, these usage policies<\/strong> can also be associated to the own digital certificates<\/strong>.<\/p>\n This behavior could be due to a corporate security strategy, where an administrator can determine what kind of use can be made of the users’ digital certificates, even if they are personal.<\/p>\n How to use it<\/span><\/p>\n The new context menu associated to each digital certificate incorporates a new functionality \u201cUsage Policies\u201d, where the user will be able to choose one or several policies among those available for his group.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n In the same way a group administrator can activate a policy of use to the digital certificate of a user, being this event notified via email of this action.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The user will be able to search and authorize those use policies that have been enabled for his group, being able to review the detail of each one of them by right clicking on it.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.viafirma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/certs_policy_set.png\")
