Viafirma Documents allows you to define the expiration of a request at three configuration levels, applied in the following order of priority, from highest to lowest:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Process level (API)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Group level<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Application level<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>PROCESS LEVEL (API)<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is the highest-priority level. When creating the process, you can specify the expires attribute within the MessageSet object, expressed as an epoch timestamp in milliseconds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If it is omitted, the system will look for the configuration at the next level.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For further information, please refer to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/doc.viafirma.com\/documents\/api\/latest\/es\/set_new.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">this documentation link<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>GROUP LEVEL<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the API process does not specify an explicit expiration date, the expiration configured for the group that owns the process will apply.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To configure it, go to:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Menu &gt; There are several ways to reactivate it:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">API \u2014 Extend the deadline of an expired SET<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This method applies to an entire SET, which may contain multiple documents and signers, and updates its expiration date to a new date in the future.
