{"id":2624,"date":"2012-03-26T09:21:43","date_gmt":"2012-03-26T09:21:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.viafirma.com\/blog-xnoccio\/?p=2624"},"modified":"2026-01-22T09:19:43","modified_gmt":"2026-01-22T09:19:43","slug":"plugtest-xml-advanced-electronic-signatures","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.viafirma.com\/en\/plugtest-xml-advanced-electronic-signatures\/","title":{"rendered":"XAdES Plugtest Remote Event &#8211; XML Advanced Electronic Signatures"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p>As we announced in the PAdES post, <a href=\"https:\/\/portal.etsi.org\/Services\/Centre-for-Testing-Interoperability\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>ETSI<\/strong> Centre for Testing and Interoperability (CTI)<\/a> is organizing a new <strong>Remote Plug tests Interop events for XAdES Signatures <\/strong>from 14th March to 28th March 2012.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>This Remote event aims at <strong>conducting interoperability test cases on XAdES signatures<\/strong> (TS 101 903) and the <strong>XAdES Baseline Profile<\/strong> (TS 103 171).<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>This testing will provide full test coverage of the both specifications including testing signatures evolution, simulating real life situations.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>This Plug tests event will enable participants to conduct 4 types of tests (<strong>Interoperability and Conformance<\/strong>):<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li><strong>Generation and cross-verification<\/strong> (Positive) tests<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Only-verification<\/strong> (Negative) tests<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Signature Upgrade tests<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Conformance testing on XAdES Baseline Profile signatures<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter is-style-rounded\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2625\" title=\"Plugtest XAdES\" src=\"https:\/\/www.viafirma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/plugtest.jpg\" alt=\"Plugtest XAdES\" \/><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The purpose of these events is:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>To enable participants to assess the <strong>level of interoperability of XAdES<\/strong>.<\/li>\r\n<li>To identify additional issues that should be taken into account in the future<strong> XAdES standardization activities.<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<li>To improve the <strong>quality of XAdES specifications<\/strong>.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>To ease the introduction of XAdES signatures<\/strong>, by providing the means to solve interoperability problems before widespread deployment.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>You can get more information on plug tests portal for electronic signatures:\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/signatures-conformance-checker.etsi.org\/pub\/tools_documentation.shtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">http:\/\/xades-portal.etsi.org\/pub\/index.shtml<\/a><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>As shown in our website, we can provide you a little description about de XAdES profiles differing in protection level offered.
