In the Viafirma Documents application it’s possible to generate documents and manage the signing procedures even if our device is in offline mode. To use this feature, the user must first log in at least once via Internet
Offline document generation from templates
Templates based on PDF
If your templates are based on PDF with the App you will be able to generate documents using forms in offline mode.
Templates based on Docx and odt
In this case the offline mode isn’t available, but it will allow to complete forms and save them as drafts
Once generated the document we will have it available in our inbox and we can collect the evidence.
Equally, all received documents in online mode can be managed in offline mode
[1] In the event that the document contains policies with mandatory evidence requiring an internet connection, a message will be displayed to the user indicating the incompatibility with the offline mode. This type of evidence can be OTP SMS, OTP Mail or Identity Checks against external services.
Offline document management
Once the evidence is collected, the document will remain in the inbox pending to be sent. When the connection is restored the system will automatically detect it and send it to the backend to complete unattended tasks (signature with certificate, time stamp). It will then forward the final document to the mobile device.
