Fixes and improvements

General platform

This update includes new functionality in our API, platform usability and security improvements, and bug fixes to optimize the user experience.

New features
  • Advanced HTML editor for templates and notifications. A button has been incorporated to directly access the HTML code editor in the WYSIWYG component (CKEditor).
  • Available in both template and group notification settings..
  • User API. It is now possible to add and manage custom metadata for each user through the PUT/v3/users endpoint, facilitating integration with other systems and storage of relevant information.
  • New signature stamp formats via API. Two new types of electronic signature stamps have been added for greater personalization of evidence:

    MINTEXT_COMPACT
    MINTEXT_COMPACT_QR

Improvements
  • Optimization of the transfer system. Improved performance and management of document transfer history, ensuring more robust traceability.
  • Phone update for OTP with full traceability (API). When modifying a signatory’s phone number using the PUT /v3/evidences/edit endpoint, the system will not only use this new number as the destination for sending the one-time code (OTP), but will also automatically generate an entry in the document audit to reflect the change.
  • Security enhancements. Various updates and enhancements have been implemented in the platform’s internal security to protect the integrity and confidentiality of all processes.
  • User management. Improvements have been made to the user administration interface of the web panel.
Bug fix
  • Fixed a bug in signature flows. Fixed anomalous behavior that occurred in specific scenarios with multiple signatories and documents. The problem concerned requests where, after the first user had signed two documents, the second signatory only received one of them for signature. The workflow now runs correctly in all cases.

Writing module

What’s new
  • Attach links as attachments: You can now include web links (URLs) as attachments in the second step of creating your requests.
  • Protect access to your requests: We have added a new option in step 4 that allows you to set a password so that only authorized people can access the request.
Improvements
  • Support for protected PDFs: You can now use password-protected PDFs in your submissions.
  • Autocomplete in signature with certificate: When setting up a digital certificate signature, filters can now be automatically filled with the signer’s data, saving you time.
  • Management of internal signatories: Users with special permissions (VIEW_PANEL_MODE = INTERNAL_COMPOSING) can now only create internal signatories, improving security and organization.
Fixes
  • Deadline selection: We have fixed an error that prevented selecting a deadline date and time for the signature if it was too close to the current time.

User dashboard

What’s new
  • Batch request management: You can now select multiple requests at once from the list to Reject, Extend your signature deadline or Discard drafts in bulk.
  • Support for links as attachments: You can now include and manage link-type (URL) attachments in your requests.
Improvements and changes
  • Sign faster from the list: Start the signing process for any request received (📫) directly from the list, without having to enter each.
  • Preview PDFs without downloading them: You can now view the contents of attached PDF documents directly from the interface.
  • More information in the check boxes: Easily view text, answer and whether a box is required from the detail view of the request.
  • States of clearer documents: We’ve added more detailed information so you know exactly what happens when a document is pending signature, review or external approval.
  • Flexibility for copywriting roles: Users with “Reader” role but with internal copywriting permissions (INTERNAL_COMPOSING) can now correctly access the creation of requests.
Fixes
  • Selection on mobile devices: Fixed a bug that prevented the correct selection of requests from phones and tablets.
  • Signed actions corrected: The actions available to a signatory are now displayed correctly according to the notification type chosen when creating the request.
  • Permissions in “Restart”: We have adjusted the logic so that the option of “Restart” a request is only available to users with write permissions.

Signature page

What’s new
  • Support for links as attachments: You can now attach web links (URLs) as attachments in your requests.
Improvements and changes
  • Preview your signature before you send it: When uploading an image of your signature, you will now be able to see a preview to make sure it is correct before proceeding.
  • Veridas v2 compatibility: We have updated our integration with the Veridas identity verification system to improve process security and reliability.
Fixes
  • Greater stability in batch signing: We have fixed a bug that blocked the process of mass signing with OTP code if the user reloaded the page.
  • Improvements in the use of Wacom tablets: Fixed a bug that prevented progress in the process when checking a checkbox with a Wacom device.
  • Fixed infinite load: When accessing an incomplete signature link, a clear error message will now be displayed instead of an infinite load screen.
  • Properly hidden audit button: The button to access signature audit (Audit Trail) will no longer appear if this option has been disabled in the configuration.
  • Restored timeout messages: The system will successfully notify you when the maximum timeout for a signing process has passed.
  • Removed a non-functional OTP signature button: We have removed a “Batch OTP signature” button that appeared in situations where it could not be used, thus avoiding confusion.
