What is the electronic signature?
The e-signature is fundamentally a concept of legal nature. The terms digital signature, electronic signature and digital certificate are often confused.
According to Wikipedia, the e-signature is defined as:
”An electronic signature, or e-signature, refers to data in electronic form, which is logically associated with other data in electronic form and which is used by the signatory to sign”
