Instructions for installing certificates in the Java store on Windows 10

To install certificates in the Java store instead of in the browser’s store, the steps are as follows:

1. Open the Java configuration panel. To access go to Start->Control Panel->Programs->Java.
2. Install the certificate in the Java store.
3. Once the control panel is open, select the security tab and click on “Manage Certificates”.
4. In the certificate management window select Certificate Type: “Client Authentication” (it is very important to select this type so that it can be used).
5. Import the digital certificate (p12 or pfx file format).
